A tour with ghosts

This weeks Thursday we went to a ghosttour on the Engsö castle outside Västerås.
I was so incredibly excited because I heard many people say that it actually is a haunted castle.

The walk was dramatized ( there was actors who staged sad/mysterious/horrible events that has happened in the castle) and the guide told us ghoststories and some general history of the castle.

We saw no real ghosts (both good and bad I guess?! xD)
The tour was interesting and it was fun to see the castle but I was disappointed at how huge number of visitors who where aloud to attend, it was crowded and because of shortness I missed some dramatized spectacle because of all the tall people... Also, there was no mysterious feeling through the tour because we were so many, which resulted in too much chattering and giggling from the audience.

  2. It didn't look very haunted from outside, but the inside looks quite creepy xD.
It's too bad there were so many people making noise; it just takes out all the scariness of the place D:

  6. Many historic places sell the 'haunted place' story as a claim to atract people, but unfortunately the charm frequently dissapears because of the massive tourist attendance. Try to visit that kind of place during the winter time if possible, usually they are not that crowded by then ;)

    1. Yes, it probably is that way. I wrote a feedback mail to the "boss" though about my thoughts and she sent me two tickets to visit the castle in 2014 :D

    1. Oh my 3 timmar!
