Old but new

During this month when I go through all my dresses and skirts I found two dresses I love the print on but hated the style. 

So I remade them after the shape of on of my beloved dresses. It went great and I'm so happy with them now. :) 

It's beginning to look a lot like christmas!

A few days ago I started decorating for christmas! As many of you now know, christmas is my favourite time of the year! I love the lights, the music and the preparations. It's just so lovely and the most wonderful time of the year!

Isn't it nice when skeletons, bats and santas can hang out like this?

I was so excited for this tree! I made the Frozen decorations from last years chocolatecalendar. It's so cozy with the pink lights! 

I bought a set from a craft shop with all the parts and instructions to make these :D It wasn't as easy I had thought so I went mad a few times but it worked out well in the end, haha!

Halloween greetings

I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween! 

I made a little video last week because I got so inspired by the song. :)

Arent' these batwings cute? I love to wear them so I will wear them everywhere I go this weekend haha! What are your plans for halloween?

We have absolutely no plans but I have a little cold so I'm fine with that. A calm evening and wait to see if any kids will knock on our door.

What does the fox say

I wanted some pictures in my new larpcostume, and my husband joined in :D So we made a little backgroundstory about our characters.

A little fox wandering in the woods, and suddenly a human appeared! How interesting!

The fox curiosly approaches the human.

What a gentleman! The human bows and introduces himself as Lostarin.

After a little chat, Lostarin needs to leave and the fox decides that she wants to find out more about this person!

So she runs up to him and they continue their discussions on the way.

I really like how my outfit turned out and I am so looking forward to be a fox for a couple of days. 

I have been watching some documentarys about the adorable foxes so I can behave more like them. 

I think that after squirrels foxes are my favourite wild animal!

Gothidays 6, Little houses

3 years ago I made little gingerbreadhouses to everyone in the family. My husbands grandmother saved hers and has used it as decoration every christmas since. It makes me very happy :D

So this year she gave me a christmaswish! She wanted a new one because the old is broken now.

So today I made two, one for her and one for Mattias grandfather as well.

The house smells so nice after this bakingsession <3

Not a christmas entry

I had plans to blog about all the christmas cozyness going on in my life and about my wishlist. But in time I noticed that The Professor will arrange Gothidays again, WOHOO, so I rather wait for that then :D
So this will just be a short update about my november so far.

I bought a huge faketattoo to see how it would feel to have one on my arm. I really liked it, looking forward to someday have the money to make the picture I have chosen to have there for real. ^_^

It has been two rough weeks for me, much pain, much tiredness. So my new hobby helped me to get my mind set on something else, I have started to make felted animals! It is just as much fun as I imagined it would be.

And my Luna, cozy as always, making me feel better about everything <3

Yesterday my hair turned pink! 

Already tired of the red shades because they get washed out so easily. :P

I wanted to have picture of the first snow that came today as well! But I didn't take any so, haha!

Catyoga and a summercabin

Well this vacation is. Rainy. I'm not a big fan of summerheath but this is ridiculous. I at least would have wanted to visit the beach once for a bath but nope. 8 days left of vacation though so hopes are high!

Because of this weather I felt I missed something. A summercabin for example. Inside the house :D So I built one and me and my cats have been enjoying this masterpiece a lot! Mattias not so much, the thought it was too small. 

Guess you all are very curious about what catyoga is by now ;)

I have been trying to get better at yoga the last week. I'm having a hard time focusing, not only because of Luna that really likes to join me for yoga but also because my mind is a restless place.

I made a little video one day when Luna and I were doing yoga together. Look at that little cute jump in the end!

Gingerbread houses

This year it seems I was superexited about gingerbreadhouses. So I made two instead of one :'D

First I tried to make a castle but somehow I started to build it wrong so in the end it turned out like this:

But it's okay :D

Then I started thinking of Bilbos house in Hobbit so I made this little cabin.

I must say my favourite part is the confused horse in the background, haha!

Has anyone made a gingerbread house this december? :)

Buns, cakes and plants

1. Buns

Buns in my hair! I was so happy  when I discovered that I have long enough hair now to easily make two buns. I love this hairstyle!

2. Cakes

Cakes I made at work yesterday, yay! They are so kind to let me bake instead of buying from a café. It was a bit messy to make these.. because that kind of kitchen is not exactly built for baking. But it went well and I am satisfied with the result.

3. Plants

This is spinach, tomatoes, peppers, chives and salad. I'm very excited about how well it grows.

A material day

I'm soooo mad at my glasses, my hair get stuck in them several times a day, so my hair breaks off so I ordered home some frames from Favoptic and tried them out.

I really really like these!

However, I did not like the diamonds on them but luckily they have them in black without diamonds as well. 

So I might buy a pair of those glasses as soon as I can afford it.  :)

And last but not least, I thought I'd show you my new hair accessories I created yesterday.

Where my necklaces lives

I have had such a productive day! :D
It was perfect springweather, so I was in a cleaning mood so I have been cleaning our apartment all day with the door open!

I also made this for my necklaces, they have been spread around for too long so I have wanted a place where they all fit.

It also has a tiny little shelf which I think is useful :D

Celebration

Yesterday we celebrated my boyfriends dad because he turned 60. :D

I made the swedish special, sandwichcake!!

And since the tractor already looked like a wreck I made it worse with some "dirt", leaking oil and one of their dog poopin on the cake, haha. Everybody thought it was a funny cake so I'm happy.

Pimp my pillows

Yesterday I made new pillowcases, I was so tired of how the pillows looked before so it was time. :)

I am so very pleased with how the one with skulls turned out. :D

FakeCake

Yesterday I played around with some homemade playdough :)

I wanted to make a gothic fakecake as an accessory for our kitchen and I think it turned good as it was my first time trying this. I was afraid that the parts would crack when I dried them in the oven but I was lucky!

Today I started my day by watching the new episode of Girls and painting two flowerpots!

Then I went to school with my boyfriend and read a book there, waiting for him while he did some project with his classmates so we could go foodshopping later. 

I looked so pretty today, oh yeah! Not my usual style really.

I have been using almond oil on my hair and head two nights because the cream I bought at the pharmacy for my scalp just made it worse :O

 But the almond oil seems to do a great job. My hair is soooo greasy and oily now though. 

I don't want to wash it more than 2 times in a week so hat it is. xD
